Rubidia of the Julii

A little portrait of Ruby in the Gladiator inspired Roman AU for the SPN_Cinema challenge. I had originally intended for her to be part of one of the larger paintings, but I quite like these colours, so I left her to lurk near her pillar, perhaps watching Sam.

I thought Ruby would look great as a roman lady, so I cast her as Sam's mysterious and potentially conflicted benefactor.

She is wearing a gown based very loosely on one of Lucilla's from Gladiator, jewelry belonging to Lucretia from Spartacus (such pretty outfits and jewelry in that show)and a veil inspired by one worn by Attia of the Julii from Rome - and her name as well!
